A Saville Row suit with Wellies is the best way to describe the 2009 Land Rover LR2. Chin up, in tailored bespoke wool with leather topped rubber boots for the mud season, dealing with anything as it comes along, seems a proper motto.
The industrial, exterior looks like someone sculpted the two utilitarian box sections, rounded off the edges, did it again, stood back, did it again and then said, “Right, perfect, paint it and ship it.”
Stepping into Rover feels like entering the boardroom of any well-established professional firm. Classic wood paneling, fine leather chairs, fieldstone gray and charcoal. “What’s this?  A steering wheel, gauges? Hmmm, portable! One likes that.”
